As the leader of Human Resources for the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation, I was worried about how we would be able to help our leadership and our staff learn and make a positive difference in the best way in the short time we had before our planned spend down.
Sabrina helped enhance our entire approach to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She helped us look at ourselves and our organization through many different lenses, using data, knowledge, resources, our own individual experiences and the experiences of our colleagues to learn about ourselves and each other in a more enlightened way. She not only had a significant positive impact on our leadership and our culture, she had a significant positive impact on me personally.
We took a very comprehensive approach to understanding and integrating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation and Sabrina was there to guide and coach us along the way. She challenged us and provided us knowledge and insight to help us learn about ourselves and our culture in order to take action to improve as individuals, leaders and colleagues. Sabrina is a natural facilitator and is able to adapt to the needs of the individuals and group in the moment. She brings broad and deep experience which enables her to help people connect the dots through a variety of ways.
I have learned a great deal from my conversations and interactions with Sabrina and have developed great esteem and friendship with her through this experience.
